Removing smoke smell from coats and stuffed toys?
Whenever my daughters return from spending time at their dad's house, they and everything they take with them absolutely REEK of cigarette smoke (a smell that I detest). I have them shower right away and wash all their clothes but how do I rid their coats and stuffed toys of the smell short of washing them? Sometimes they come home right before bedtime and I don't really have time to do anything with their stuffed toys.

yikes…i feel bad for you.
Febreze should work fine, but if it doesn’t you may have to wash their toys.
Just a suggestion, try to get them to leave some toys at their dad’s so they won’t have to take their toys that are at your house to their dad’s house and they won’t smell like cigarette smoke.
“Smells BeGone” will work for you. Unlike most air fresheners, Smells BeGone completely eliminates odors, including smoke…instead of just covering them up. And Smells BeGone has no scent of its own…so the coats and toys won’t smell like perfume (only to wear off and have the smoke re-surface).
You can buy Smells BeGone at Aco Hardware; Ace Hardware; Bed, Bath, & Beyond; and over the Internet:

Your best option is GoneSmoke ‘n’ Odor Eliminator available online at http://www.shop.gonesmoke.com. you can read more about the products at http://www.gonesmoke.com.
This is guaranteed to be the best smoke odor eliminator on the market because it’s safe, virtually DRY and completely effective. GoneSmoke was actually recommended by Cigar Aficionado Magazine after an editor removed ALL traces of cigar smoke smell from his wool jacket after a Big Smoke weekend, a cigar smoking event! You can check this link to read more: http://www.cigaraficionado.com/Cigar/CA_Features/CA_Feature_Basic_Template/0,2344,2614,00.html
GoneSmoke Personal is ideal for both the coats and the stuffed toys, and they are very safe, so you won’t have to worry about residue. The GoneSmoke Bullet Personal Smoke and Odor Eliminator was actually created to spray over hair and clothes, so when they don’t time to shower, you can actually spray their hair as well. It’s actually safer than hairspray.
It’s a product you have to try to believe!!
