Webkinz Plush Stuffed Animal Lamb

I purchased this Webkinz for my daughter’s sixth birthday. I was pleased when it arrived; it appeared to be very well made, soft, and very cute! As my daughter loves lambs, she was overjoyed when she opened it. Being that she also loves playing on the computer, I knew the virtual pet aspect of the toy would delight her. We went through the adoption process and logged on. That’s where the disappointment began.

We have owned this toy for only a few weeks, and my daughter tried just about every day to log on and play with the virtual pet. However, most of her attempts failed. The Webkinz site is apparently not built to accommodate the number of Webkinz users that actually exist! As a result, my daughter ends up being more frustrated than anything else. I guess the upside to this is that she at least has a cute stuffed animal. It’s really unfortunate, since the concept is a good one…they seem to fail miserably in execution though. Don’t buy this toy if you’re in it just for the online play. Even with a high speed connection, it might be days before you’re able to log in!

My friend’s daughter has enjoyed her Webkinz plush stuffed lamb every day! She even sleeps with it at night… She can’t wait to collect more of them.
