What's the best way to clean stuffed toys?
I received a bag full of plush toys from my cousin. They have been played with before, and I'd like to clean them. Some toys have sticky stains. What's the best way to clean/disinfect stuffed animals so that they are really clean but stay soft? I don't want the quality of the fur to be affected.

i put them in the washing machine then sat them out to dry because if you dry them in the dryer they will shrink

i put them in a pillow case and tie it, wash them and let the animals air dry

    First off!
Wash the stuffed toys in the washing machine. I work at an animal shelter and we use laundry detergant and bleach in every load of stuffed animals. Then throw them in the dryer and they come out stain free, germ free and smelling good.

Bleach is the worlds ultimate germ killer!

Well it depends on the material. If it is regular then you can wash it anyway. Just dont dry it. Also depending on the material it may harden, shrink,or lose they elasticity and come apart. If it is silk then same goes for it. If it is Felt then hand wash it washing it will shring it. Also as u prolly know using bleack will stain the color so dont wash it in with it.

Throw them in the washer and then dryer! They come out fresh. Unless it has a lot of poofy fur. Then the fur comes out gross and curly.
